Electrical installations come in all sorts of shapes and sizes and this particular installation is one of the largest single domestic installations Prolectrical Limited have carried out since lead electrician Jon Adkins started out in the trade over 20 years ago.
The challenge was to remove three existing boards, installed at various times over the past thirty years and amalgamate them into one main board with full RCBO and surge protection. To add a further challenge to this already complicated process the cables had to be extended for each circuit as the original ones were too short. The electric meter and fuse board are located downstairs, like always, in a small cupboard. To access the cables the floor boards on the landing above had to be removed and a series of junction boxes installed to accommodate the new connections. This installation was a particularly complicated process to get to the end result.
We are very proud of the result and this installation is an excellent example of our craftmanship!
